One of the largest cities in the world, Sao Paulo is known as a tourist hub for its varied cuisine and thousands of clubs and lounges. The city includes Portuguese, African, and even Japanese immigrants, making it one of the most culturally diverse cities south of the equator.

There are festivals throughout the year, including the Bienal art festival, two world-renowned fashion weeks, and various parades and marathons. Those looking to travel to Sao Paulo can come for the Brazilian Carnival celebrations, or just spend time relaxing at a spot on the nearly 400 miles of its beaches.

From the beaches of Sao Paolo, to its museums and incredible shopping districts, you’ll learn about where to go and what to see. There are many diverse cultures in Sao Paulino – in fact, the city has the largest Japanese community outside of Japan! And what is more, Sao Paolo is a haven for European runway fashion and business conferences. Where can you go to find these things? This website will help you do just that! If you wrote “sao paulo attractions” by mistake, you still came to the right place.

The Clube Chocolate looks like a gallery, houses an upscale martini bar and cozy cafe, and sells a variety of renowned national and international fashions for men and women as well as plants, gift items, and home decorations. And the chocolate, you ask? The only type you’ll find is the Brazilian women’s clothing line sold under the Chocolate label.

A phenomenal success in the male-dominated world of Brazilian gourmet chefs, owner and chef Carla Pernambuco earned her stripes in New York before coming home to Brazil and starting her own restaurant. Her cuisine blends the ethnic flavors of cosmopolitan New York and her own Italian heritage with fresh Brazilian ingredients to create dishes such as the camarão pacifico: shrimp grilled with sesame seeds and Thai chile sauce on a bed of vegetable-fried rice. She pulls off a great duck confit with honey and mustard served with a pear rice, and even though there is only one pasta dish on the menu, it’s a keeper: large ravioli stuffed with brie and asparagus. Reservations are not accepted; expect a long wait on most nights after 9pm

A spacious and modern restaurant just 1 block off the stylish Rua Augusta, Arabia serves up a range of favorites from Lebanon. In addition to the daily specials, there’s a tasting menu that changes regularly. At R$38 (US$16) it’s a great way to sample some of the chef’s best. The main menu includes Moroccan rice with roasted almonds and chicken, or the signature stuffed artichoke bottoms with ground beef, accompanied by rice with almonds. As an appetizer or a light meal, try the mezze, the Lebanese equivalent of tapas. Served for two, three, or four people, each tray comes with at least half a dozen tasters of the most popular dishes such as hummus, falafel, tabbouleh salad and a generous serving of fresh pita.
